Perfect World Announces Recent Business Developments

(Beijing China – July 7, 2014) – Perfect World Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: PWRD) (“Perfect World” or the “Company”), a leading online game developer and operator based in China, today announced its recent business developments as of July 7, 2014.

April 29, 2014 – Perfect World Files 2013 Annual Report on Form 20-F


In June 2014, Perfect World launched its 3D mysterious fantasy MMORPG mobile game “Forsaken World.”


Recently, Perfect World released expansion packs for three PC games.
– On May 22, 2014, Perfect World released the expansion pack “Rage of Hades” for its 3D comic-based MMORPG “Saint Seiya Online.”
– On June 3, 2014, Perfect World released the expansion pack “Raider Unleashed” for its 3D MMORPG “Zhu Xian.”
– On June 25, 2014, Perfect World released the expansion pack “Forsaken World 2.0” for its 3D fantasy MMORPG “Forsaken World.”


Launch of “Swordsman Online” in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan

In June 2014, Perfect World launched “Swordsman Online” in Singapore and Malaysia through its subsidiary in Southeast Asia, and in Japan through its Japanese subsidiary, respectively. “Swordsman Online” is Perfect World’s 3D martial arts MMORPG adapted from Louis Cha’s acclaimed classic martial arts novel. First launched in mainland China in June 2013, the game has since been well received by players.

Launch of English, French and German Versions of “Swordsman Online” in North America and Europe

In July 2014, Perfect World launched the English, French and German versions of “Swordsman Online” in North America and Europe through its overseas subsidiaries.


Licensing “Swordsman Online” to Indonesia

In June 2014, Perfect World signed an agreement with PT. Interactive Prima Online, an online game publisher in Indonesia, to license “Swordsman Online” to Indonesia.
