(NASDAQ: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that "Legend of Martial Arts," ("Dream World – Legend of Martial Arts" in Japan) the Company's light-hearted adventure game, was successfully launched in Japan on February 29, 2008 by C&C Media Co., Ltd. ("C&C Media"), a famous online game operator in Japan.

C&C Media has many years of online game operating experience. C&C Media successfully operates "Perfect World II," ("Perfect World" in Japan) the Company's first 3D MMORPG licensed to overseas markets, in Japan. Perfect World signed a licensing agreement for "Legend of Martial Arts" with C&C Media in the end of June, 2007, and both parties have devoted great efforts in localization. On December 14, 2007, the closed beta testing was launched and was greatly welcomed by Japan's online game players.
