Perfect World to Launch Closed Beta Testing for "Chi Bi" on December 18,2007 |

(NASDAQ: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that it will launch closed beta testing ("CBT") for "Chi Bi" (the "Game") on December 18, 2007. The closed beta version for "Chi Bi" will also include the highly anticipated "Three Kingdoms System" and "Motion Fighting System." "Chi Bi" is the Company's fist MMORPG based on real history, the most famous Three Kingdoms period. With Perfect World's ability to recreate the classic scenes and famous historical figures of the Three Kingdoms Period using its Angelica 3D game engine, the Company is convinced it will magnificently represent the stories of the Three Kingdoms period. As the Company's first online game with kingdoms, "Chi Bi" allows online game players to choose which kingdom to join.
