Perfect World Launches "Special Annual Edition" Expansion Pack for "Perfect World II" |
Beijing, China (November 26, 2007) -- Perfect World Co., Ltd. ("Perfect World" or "the Company"; NASDAQ: PWRD), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced the launch of the "Special Annual Edition" expansion pack ("the Expansion Pack") for "Perfect World II" on November 22, 2007, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the game. The Expansion Pack contains many updates, new items and new pets, and includes some highly anticipated contents, such as "City Combat Flight System" and "Territory Combat System." "Perfect World II" is the Company's first online game exported to overseas markets. So far, it has been licensed to more than ten countries and regions and received very positive feedback. Releasing the Expansion Pack on the anniversary of the initial launch of "Perfect World II" in China not only celebrates the Company's success in the past year, but also provides new experiences to players that have been supporting the game. The updates will later on apply to countries where the game has been licensed as well. The Company provides many new features in the "Special Annual Edition," including "first class territory combat" in Archosaur and Wanliu cities, a new Tianshu system for different classes, coupons for learning new Xianmo skills and for a limited 7-day period, Perfect Treasure Box, which includes pets with strong attack powers and Ultimate Magic Stones etc. At the same time, to ensure players fully enjoy the new features, "Perfect World II" opened a new set of servers on November 16, 2007.
